Bjelasnica is more than a ski mountain.
Bjelasnica offers far more than skiing. Throughout the year it provides space for active holidays, time in nature and an encounter with the authentic mountain landscapes of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
From panoramic chairlift rides and mountain walks to e-bike routes, a visit to Lukomir and a day in Sarajevo — every season brings a different way to experience the mountain. Hotel Nomad sits in the heart of Babin Do and is the ideal base for exploring Bjelasnica and the surrounding area.
Sarajevo is half an hour away. Konjic is close. The Bosnian Pyramids are nearby. Bjelasnica isn’t just a starting point — it’s the reason to come.

Panoramic views of Bjelasnica.
Just 100 metres from the hotel, a six-person chairlift takes you to the summit of Bjelasnica at 2,067 metres above sea level. The views open up on the way up, and at the top a panorama stretches for kilometres in every direction.
Summer hours: 08:30 to 16:00. More information: ocbjelasnica.com

Walking and hiking.
Trails to Kuca spasa, Javorov Do, Javornik and Prasuma, and Veliko polje on Igman Mountain. Short and long routes. With a guide or independently — the SOAR app provides offline trails across the entire mountain.

E-bike rides.
The most beautiful parts of Bjelasnica are often off the main paths. E-bikes let you explore them at your own pace, with less effort and more time to take in the surroundings.
Three levels of route: short (10 to 15 km, around one hour), standard (up to 30 km, three hours), advanced (up to 50 km, five hours). We especially recommend the ride to Lukomir.

Lukomir — the oldest nomadic village in Bosnia.
A living ethnological museum on Bjelasnica. The traditions of Dinaric highlanders and nomadic tribes are still practised here today. Stecci (medieval tombstones) from the 14th and 15th centuries. Architecture that isn’t preserved behind glass — people still live in it.
Nomad takes its name from these parts. Lukomir is why that name makes sense.
Available as an organised excursion or independently. Details at reception.

Sarajevo — Eat Pray Love tour.
Half an hour from the hotel. Bascarsija, the City Hall, Inat kuca, Sebilj fountain. Bosnian coffee with a ritual you can’t learn from a video. A city sometimes called the Jerusalem of Europe, where a mosque, a church, a cathedral and a synagogue stand within a few hundred metres of each other.
A guided tour with someone who knows the city from the inside, not from a tourist brochure. Details at reception.

Tito's Bunker in Konjic.
ARK — the Atomic War Command shelter. Built between 1953 and 1979 into the hillside near Konjic. Twenty-six years of construction, 4.6 billion US dollars, a strictly kept military secret until the dissolution of Yugoslavia. Today — one of the most remarkable places to visit in the region.
Details and reservations: hotel reception.

The Bosnian Pyramids.
The prehistoric underground labyrinth of Ravne, directly below the Valley of the Pyramids near Visoko. 1.7 km of tunnels. A guided tour through lit passages, a meditation room beside the K-2 mega-ceramic block.
